A regular meeting of the Town Council was held on the -above date Lutz' Hail,'there being present: Joel Shomaker, Mayor, Del Adelphia, J.M. Hall Jno. 0. Wold and J.W.Wilson Councilmen. .Meeting was called to order by the Mayor, at the hour of 8 :00 °P.M. _.The _.first order of business was the: reading of the minutes of the last :regu and special medtings which -were approved. 2h wing bills were read and, later in the evening when r apgrovedby the auditing committee,_ warrants were ordered drawn for the irf,jayme n t Frederick W.Sears, Printing, $32.20 S. Chapman, 24.50 T o t a l $100.94 Uponmotion'. made by Adelphia, seconded by Hall, Improvement District: No _teas`- created ;and the Ordinance Committee ditected to :`Araf-t an .Ordinance. the construction- of -a 4 -foot sidewalk therein. There having been some little misunderstanding between" the Audit =3ng Committee and Mr. Sears as to' the terms under which he is doing the -Town Printing, Mr. Sears made a statement covering the ground very thoroughly,.and to the satisfaction of the Committee. Upon motion regularly made and seconded, it was unanimously decided .to_:._tender- Mr. Weiderman a vote of .thanks for the use of his house as a place to hold Council Meetings, before the present place•of meeting =had been put in order,.also to pay him $5.00 for heat and light-. Mayor Shomaker was also tendered a vote of thanks for the use of his house a meeting place for the Council, earlier in the year. Upon motion regularly made and seconded, it was decided to allow the -clerk $60.00 for his services for the past six months. In the matter of the Bid of B.H.Kassner to grade down.the Engel Hill, Mr. Wilson, chairman of the committe, asked for an extension of two weeks in which to consider the matter; extension granted, and the Mayor will call a meeting io two weeks for a final disposition of the matter. This being the last meting of the present Council, the reports of the Clerk, Treasurer and Police Magistrate were read and accepted. The. Town Marshal having reported on his actions at least twice a month during his term... of office, no detailed report was demanded of him at this titre At. the hour of 9:00 P.M. there being no further business to come efore the meeting, it was adjourned sine die.
