ORDINANCE NO. 513 .i
AN ORDINANCE relating to and providing
for the condemnation of certain pro-
perty rights within the City of Tukwila,
and providing for payment therefore.
WHEREAS, by Ordinance No. 503, adopted December 18, 1967,
the City Council of the City of Tukwila ordered the improvement of
portions of South 180th Street and South Center Parkway and the in-
stallation of utility pipes and lines along South 180th Street and
South Center Parkway; and
WHEREAS, the public necessity and convenience demand that
certain private property be condemned or damaged in order to effec-
tuate the purposes of Ordinance No. 503 in creating a roadway of
adequate dimension and the installation of utility pipes and lines,
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Tukwila
do ordain as follows:
Section 1: The condemnation or damaging, or both, of the
real property describes inn Exhibit "A" attached hereto and by this
reference made a part hereof and incorporated herein, situated in
the City of Tukwila, King County, Washington, is hereby authorized
for the purposes of road improvement and utility easements.
Section 2: The entire costs of the acquisition of said land

and easements shall be paid from the Urban Arterial Board -Fund -a-nd
by special assessment against those lands benefitted by the improve-
ment provided for in Ordinance No. 503.
Section 3: The City Attorney is hereby authorized and directed
to begin and prosecute the actions and proceedings in the manner
provided by law to condemn, take, damage and appropriate the lands
and other property necessary and to carry out the provisions of this
Ordinance.
Section 4: For publication purposes, the land described in
Exhibit "A" attached hereto shall be available for inspection in
the office of the City Clerk, City of Tukwila.
PASSED by the City Council and approved by the Mayor of
the City of Tukwila, Washington, at a regular meeting thereof, this
ad day of March, 1968.
