ORDINANCE NO. 511 S//
AN ORDINANCE of the City of Tukwila establish-
ing a special fund to be known and designated
as the "Urban Arterial Board Fund" and amend-
ing Ordinance No. 497, the 1968 Budget Ordi-
nance of the City of Tukwila.
WHEREAS, during the year 1968 the City of Tukwila will receive
monies from the Washington State Urban Arterial Board, and Washington
State law requires that these monies be deposited in a special fund;
and
WHEREAS, certain changes must be made in the 1968 budget on
the basis of this increased revenue and the expenditure of such
funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Tukwila, Wash-
ington, do ordain as follows:
Section 1. There is hereby created and established in the
Office of the City Treasurer, City of Tukwila, a special fund to be
known and designated as "The Urban Arterial Board Fund" and into which
fund shall be deposited monies received from the Washington State
Urban Arterial Board and from certain local improvements funds, and
against which fund'shall be issued cash warrants to the contractor
ott contractors in payment for the work to be done by them in connec-
tion with certain local improvements, and against which fund cash
warrants shall be issued in payment of all other items of expense in
connection with said improvements.
Section 2. City of Tukwila Ordinance No. 497 is amended as fol-
lows:
A. Under Subsection V, Revenue From Other Agencies,(f),
State Grants, a new heading entitled "From State Agencies" is established
in the amount of $1,126,670.00
Under Subsection VIII, OTHER REVENUES, a new subsection d,
"Transfers from Other Funds," is established in the amount of
$125,230.00 under a new heading entitled "Transfers from Other Funds."
B. Expenditures is amended by the addition of the following
line items:
Engineering 78,300.00
Right -of -Way Acquisition 112,000.00
Utilities 13,000.00
Construction 048,600.00
PASSED by the City Council and approved by the Mayor
of the City of Tukwila, Washington, at a regular meeting thereof
this 4th day of March, 1968.
