A lleetin of t: ^,e Toxin Council was held on the above date with
Bayor Joel chomaker in th-a chair, being called to order by the I.ayor
at the hour of 8:30 o'clock P.Y.
There were present:
Joel Shomaker, Miayor,
J.i. Hall
Del Adelphia,
Jno.G.Hopkins and
Frank W. Johansen, Councilmen.

The various Cormnittees had nothing to report, except tha
committee appointed to report or the complaint made. by 11r.17ilson at
a previous meeting, of t,ae action of the marshal in improving River
side Avenue, and the unauthorized purchase of supplies. Their find-
ings, supporting 1 Wilson in his contention, were ordered placed
on file.
Ordinance .o, 16, relating to the narrner of collecting axes
was passed on its second reading and ordered published.
I -fir. Adelphia asked for an appropriation of X10900 for Hillinan
Boulevard between Riverside Avenue and Kinney Boulevard; also Ub.00
for the improveisent of Riverside Avenue between the residences of
Mr. Tate and i:r. Binkerd, The Appro
priations were granted.
The matter of a franchise for Telephone lines, and the matter
of an Ordinance prohibiting s ,oc k fro--.q running at large in the
Streets of Tukwila were referred to comnitteea with instructions to
report back to the Council.
The Treasurer's Semi- annual report was read and ac;epted.
The following bill was presented, and after being allowed by the
auditing cormni t tee warrant was ordered drawn in payment thereof.
