A Meet in; of the Town Council was held on the above dat v�ith
Mayor. Joel Shomaker in: the chair, being called to _order by the Adayflr_
at the hour of 8 :30 o'clock P.M.
There were present:
Joel Shomaker, Mayor,
J.M,Hall,
Del Adelphia,
Jno.G.Hopkins and
Frank W.Johansen,_• Councilmen.
Minutes of the last MeetiAg-: were read and aproved.
The various Committees had nothing to report, except the'
committee appointed to report on the complaint made.by Mr.Wilson 'ate
gt previous meeting, of the action of the marshal in improving•River
side Avenue, and the unauthorized purchase of supplies. Their find
ings, supporting Mr. Wilson in his contention, were ordered placed`
on file.
Ordinance No. 16, relating to the manner of collecting taxes
was passed on its second reading and ordered published.
Mr, Adelphia asked for an appropriation of' $10.00 for. Hillman
Boulevard between Siverside Avenue and Kinney Boulevard; also $15.00
for the improvement of Riverside Avenue between the-residences of
Mr. Tate and Mr. Binkerd, The Appropriations were granted._
The matter of a franchise for Telephone lines, and'the matter -of an Ordinance prohibiting stock from running at large in.the
Streets of Tukwila were referred to committees with instructions to
report back to the Council.
The Treasurer's Semi- annual report was read and accepted.
The following bill was presented, and after being allowed by th6_
auditing committee, warrant was ordered drawn in payment thereof....-

before the Council, meeting adjourned.
