TUKWILA, WASHINGTON.
Tukwila, Washington, June 29th, 1908.
Meeting was called to-order by the Mayor, at the hour of 9 :-30 P.M:_F
there being present the following Officers and Councilmen:
Joel Mayor,
J. M. Hall, R. H. Heath, J..M. Wilson
and John Wold, Councilmen,
E. M. Engel, Treasurer,
E. F. Greene, Clerk.
The first order of business was the .filing of the oaths of offite`
And qualification of the various Officers and Councilmen present, after_;
:which, upon motion duly made and seconded, the appointments. to '_the
offices of Cleo, Marshal, Police Magistrate, City Attorney and HealtYr
Officer made by the Mayor, were duly ratified.

Upon motions duly made and seconded the following Ordinances were
unanimously adopted
ORDINANCE I.
SEAL: Be it ordained by the Council that con orate seal, sha13
be adopted and described as follows; Circular in.Form;.'one and =five=
eighths inches (1- 5/.8 in diameter, the? impression .of which shall be
,"cluster of three Hazelnuts, in the husk, in the center, and'ah ?i crip

Washington, 1908 the same to be used as the official seal of, he town=
of Tukwila.
ORDINANCE II.
MEETINGS OF THE COUNCIL:
Be'it ordained by the Town Council that regular meetings of tha
Council shall be held on the second Tuesday of each month, provided that.,-
such times of meeting shall not occur on a legal Holiday, and that
special meetings may be held at such times as the business may require;,
the Mayor or three Councilmen may call special meetings and serve notice-
upon each 'member, by sending the marshall or other spe cial messenger =to
their homes or place of business, three hours or more before the time
appointed for holding such meeting.
R E S O L U T I O N.
BONDS:
Be it resolved by the Town Council that the Clerk, Marshal,
Police Justice and Treasurer, be each .bonded in the sum of $500.00 in
some reliable, approved Surety Company, the expenses attendant,thereori
to be borne by the City.
Upon motion made, duly seconded, and unanimously adopted.,`
Clerk was authorized to immediately take, such steps as- are necessary_
to procure a seal, in accordance with Ordinance No. 1, as" above to_ .puiF
chase a minute book, and procure bonds ih accordance with the above.
