December 14, 1922.
The regular monthly meeting of the Council of the Town of Tukwila
wa.s called to order by the ?Yayor at 8:2^ P. M. There were -resent itlayor E. F.
Green, Councilmen W. F. Engle, H. E. Ives, M. L. Holmes, C. G. Sanders, and
F. J. Klein.

The minutea of the last regular meeting were read by the Clerk and

The following dills were read by the Clerk and after being oked by
the Fin=ance Committee it was'ploved, seconded and carried th-zt they be paid and
warrants drawn for their respective mounts:

With a few exce_:tions -all the contemplated sidewalks throughout
the town have been completed. Various streets are in need of slight repairs
will be done as soon cis the :ve:.,ther ;;ermits.
UNFINISHED BUSI vESS
Ordina,rice No. 96 regul_itiag traffic u -on various streets of the town
was read by the Clerk. After some discussion it wa.s moved and seconded that an
emergency exists and that Ordinance No. 08 be -a,dotted and made effective at once.
Motion carried.

Mr. James Mead yw,eared before the Council with a request th -t the
Council allow hi w to prosi ect for coal under vurious streets -.nd alleys of the town:

The question of vacating Fiver street and of allowing fir. lje -.d

after some discussion it w�.sruoved and seconded that this flatter be aid ov over until
the next regular meeting for investigation. Motion lost. It ww�ed and

the slide on Bluff Street the town =would vacate River Street in his favor. idction

It ,va.s r eported that A number of boys had been in the habit of loiter
ing about the station recently. The matter was referred to the Town Marshal.
Mr. fiozaeck ac before the Council erld enured a rrotsst against
his bill for constructing si dewalks. This matter was referred to the Torn Engineer.
