Ms. Parrish has applied for the vacancy on the Library Advisory Board. The vacancy was created when Mac MacDonald resigned upon moving out of the City recently. Ms. Parrish's term in Position #3 would expire 12/31/07. Lodging Tax Advisory Board Two positions on the Lodging Tax Advisory Board have become vacant recently. Dwight MacLean, General Manager of the Ramada Limited Tukwila, has resigned. We have received and I am forwarding the application of Meilee Anderson. Ms. Anderson is Corporate Sales Manager of Comfort Suites (Family Fun Center). She is eager to work with our Board, having served on a similar Board in Spokane. Tina Tuft, Asst. General Manager of Westfield, has been promoted to a corporate regional position and will not be able to attend meetings regularly. We have received and I am forwarding the application of Nicole Grubbs, Marketing Director at Westfield. Ms. Grubbs has served on a similar Board in Lynnwood. Unless I hear otherwise from the Council prior to November 6, I will invite these individuals to the Regular City Council meeting on November 20, 2006, to have these appointments confirmed.
