November 10th, 1921.
The regular monthly meeting of the Council of the Town of Tukwila-W45.8
called to order by the :-ayor at 8:30 P. Li. There were 'resent Mayor E. F. Green,
Councilmen W. F. Engel, C. Sanders, and H. E. Ives, Councilmen F. -J. Klein and
M. V. Lemon being absent.
The minutes of the last meeting were read and approved.
B I L L 3:
Tne followin bills were read by the Clerk and after being oked by the
Finance Committee it was moved, seconded, and carried that they be paid and warrants
drawn for their respective amounts, s

COMMUNICATIONS
The Town Treasurer's report was read by the Clerk and ordered placed on
file.
A letter from the Town Treasurer requesting a. change in the depository of
the town funds was read by the Clerk and referred to new business.

Streets S Councilman Engel.
All sidewalks under construction have now been com.leted with the
excej:tion of the one adjoining Mr. Fletcher's property, and the concrete walk along
Pacific Highway_ Various streets throughout the town need dragging which will be
done within a short time, weather permitting.
NEW BUSINESS
The contract for Street Lights between the town and the Puget Sound Traction
Light Power Co. has expired; a renewal of same ;gas. read by the Clerk. Owing to
several changes in the new contract made by the Electric Company it was discussed at
some length by the Council and motion was made and seconded that the Mayor and Clerk
be instructed to take the matter up with the Electric Com _any and endeavor to have
the new contract changed to conform with the former one. Should they be unable to
do this they were enpowered to file the new contract, getting the best possible terms.
Motion carried.
The matter of property damage throughout the town eras, again_ brought up for
discussion, but no -ct?on was taken.
The regular municipal election which will be held on December 6th was
brought up, and the Mayor instructed the election committee to make the necessary
arrangements.
Owing to the fact that nr. F. D. Lovejoy, Town Marshal, has moved from
Tukwila the Mayor appointed Councilman W. F. Engel as Marshal. Moved and seconded
that the appointme€t beconfirmed. Motion carried.
Air. S. H. Gade appeared before the Council and presented a petition for the
vacation of a portion of Gundaker's Interurban Addition. The petition was read by
the Clerk and after some discussion it was moved and seconded that the petition be
granted. Motion carried.

the torn funds was brought up and discussed. Moved and seconded that the funds of
the town be transferred from the Nation -,l Bank of Comruerce to the ;urine National
Bank, which bank shall be designated as the torn depository. Motion carried. The
Clerk was instructed to notify the bonding committee of the above change.
No further business appearing the Council adJourned at 9: <5 P. M.
