A special meeting of the Council of the Town of Tukwila was called on the above date for the purpose of establishing a Budget for the year 1921 -1922 and for the appointment of a Found Master. The meeting was called to order at 8:35 P. k. by Mayor E. F. Green. There. were present Mayor E. F. Green, Councilmen W. F. Engel, U. V. Lemon, C. Sanders, and H. E. Ives. R,k- P =o r 000d budget was read by the Clerk: General Expenses_ Hall Rent 40.00 Clerk 120.00 Treasurer 75.00 Street Lighting 367.20 Stationery Postage 10.00 Marshal 30.00 Elections 30.00 Attorney 250.00 Streets and Street R*pairs 614.82__ Total RedemTUon of qe Lt_ Interest and redemption 1919 Bond Fund 1537.02 770.00- $23©7.02 Moved and seconded that the Budget be addopted as read. Motion carried. The Clerk was instructed to call a special meeting for Monday, October 3rd; at 10:00 A. I1. to hear protests against this budget. The matter of a Pound Master was brought up and after some discussion the Mayor appointed Mr. F. J. Lovejoy as Pound Master. Appointment confirmed by tae Council.
