Tukwila, Washington.
Geptember 8th, 1921.
The regular monthly meeting of the Council of the Town of Tukwila was
called to order by the Mayor at 8:55 P. M. There were present Mayor E. F. Green,
Councilmen W. F. Engel, M. V. Lemon, C. Sanders, and H. E. Ives, Councilman F. J.
Klein being absent.
The minutes of the last meeting were read and approved.
B I L L S
The following bills were read by the Clerk, and after being oked by the
Finance Committee it was moved, seconded, and carried that they be paid and
warrants drawn for their respective amounts:

COMMUNICATIONS
The Town Treasurer's report was read and ordered placed on file.
REPORTS OF COYJAITTEES:
Sidewalks. Councilman Engel.
The sidewalks on the Hill are practically all completed with the
exceptions of placing railings where needed.
UNFINISHED BUSINESS
The matter of vacating a portion of the plat of Gundaker's Interurban
Addition was brought up and after being reported on the Clerk it was moved,
seconded, and carried that the petition be rejected.
It was reported that Mr. Christianson who had been appointed Pound
kaster had left town, and the hLayor appointed Mr. mill,Kayne to this office
temporarily.
The matter of sidewalk on Bluff Street wasbrought up and the present
status of the matter was explained by the Mayor.
Mr. Head appeared before the Council and stated that he would have -the
walk between the Pacific Highway and his house completed within the next two weeks.
After some discussion the entire matter was referred to the Sidewalk Committee.
E1� BUSINESS
Inasmuch as the firm of Jones, Ridell, Brackett haddissolved partner—
ship it was recommended that the Town designate the firm of Jones Colvin as
town attorneys. Motion to this effect was made, seconded, and carried.
It was reported that numerous small boys in the town had been committing
nuisances and destroying property in various parts of the town. The matter was
referred to the Marshal for immediate attention.
Discussion was brought up regarding enforcing the Curfew Ordinance
and this matter was also referred to the Marshal.
It was reported that a small amount of work was needed on Engel Hill
to keep the street in good condition. The matter was referred to the street
Committee.
The Clerk reported that the Puget Sound Electric Railway had suggested
removing the two present stations at Tukwila and building a large new passenger
station. After some discussion the matter was referred back to the Clerk to
investigate further.
No further business occurring the Council adjourned at 10:15 P. M.
