Greene Councilmen: Messrs, Frank J, Klein, H. E. Ives, It. V. Lemon, Claude G. Sanders and W. F. Engel, Treasurer: C. P. Jensen. Absent Clerk: Eugene E. Lutz. :.eeting wee called to order by the ufayor at 8 :20 P. M. Mr. Lutz, clerk, being absent, Mr, F. J. Klein was appointed Clerk pro tem. Yinutes of last regular and special meetings were read and approved, The following bills were read, and after being O.K'd by the Finance committee, upon motion regularly made, seconded and carried, were ordered paid: General Fund Bond Fund Total R. Jensen, Treasurer's Compensation 3435 34.95 19 20 03 I.N.1.6 0 $350.53 Treasurer's monthly report presented, read and ordered on file, Petetition of Gade, et., for vacation of a portion of Gundaker Plat read and referred to Laws Ordinance Committee to be reported on at next meeting. Sidewalk Committee reported all walks under construction completed except Highland Drive, which is 50% complete. Street Committee reported that work of gravelling Main St. 509 completed. School Committee reported that work on School House was about to begin. Street Committee reported that a small Amount of work was required on Hazel Avenue; also a small amount of work on Tukwila Avenue near the Engel residence. Referred to Street Committee with power to act at their discretion, The matter of Town Hall was brought up for discussion. It developed that the Women's Improvement Club had purchased a Lot for this purpose to be turned over to the Town Council by Warranty Deed upon the erection of and completion of a suitable Hall under the supervision and direction of representatives from the Torn Council; a Resolution of the Women's Improvement Club was presented to the Council and ie hereby.ma.de a part of these minutes. After considerable discussion which was taken part in by members of the Council, members of the Women's Club and residents of Tukwila, and the Mayor appointed the following Committees who will 361 Page 2. have in charge the erection and financing of a.Town Hall: Build Committee Mr, Claude G. Sanders, Chairman i--rs. Hattie Guist, Mrs. Anna Benberg, Mr. Baker, Yrs. Carrie Sandere, Yr. W. F. Engel and Mr. Frans J. Klein. Tinance Comm- ittee. Mr, A. E. Guist, Chairman. Ur. Eugene E.
