Tukwila, Washington. November 11th, 1920.
The regular monthly meeting of the Council of the Town of Tukwila was
called to order by the Mayor in Lutz Hall at 8:20 P. L1. There were present layor
E. F. Green, Councilmen A. J. Erickson, W. F. Engel, M. V. Lemon, J. G. Hopkins.
The minutes of the last meeting were read and approved.
REPORTS OF CObNITTEES:
Street Com! i ttee. Councilman Engel.
There has been a considerable amount of street work done during the
'past month and gravelling on the following streets has been completed, Clarence
Avenue, Finney Boulevard, and the Tukwila Avenue on top-of Engel Hill.
The gutters and drains on Main Street have been installed and the
'street D as been dragged ready for gravelling.
The Clerk reported that the contract with the Eighth Avenue Sand
Gravel Co. had been reduced to 50 yards and the balance of the gravel needed had been
purchased from 1wr.'Cawrbell at Renton at ""2.50 per yard.
The Mayor declared a recess during which time Mr. Miller of the ZU'Ller
Engineering Co. of Seattle appeared before the Council and gave an extended talk as
to the advisability of inst^.11-ing raterwork system In the town.
The Council again being called to order the following bills were read by th;
Clerk and after being 0. K by the Finance Committee it was moved, seconded, and
carried that they be raid and warrants be drawn for the respective amounts:

NEW BUSINESS
It was reported tia.t there are several ;daces about the torn in an unsani-
.tary condition. Vae Diatter was referred to the Health Cot;i:ittee.
Councilman Erickson reported that there were several bad places on Bluff
Street and Outlet Avenue which needed gravel. After some discussion it was moved
and seconded that 16 yards of gravel be purchased to repair the above named places.
Motion carried.
No further business appearing the Council adjourned at 9:35 P. ;N%
