SPONSOR'S The City is required to update its Sewer System Plan every six years by the Department of
SUMMARY Ecology (DOE). The last update was completed in 1999. This update was completed in
December 2005 and approved by DOE in April 2006. Sewer improvements are listed in the
updated plan and incorporated into the City's six -year CIP.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKVI'ILA,
WASHINGTON, ADOPTING A SEWER SYSTEM PLAN UPDATE A1\'D
PROVIDING FOR SANITARY SEWER SERVICE POliCIES FOR THE
CITY.
WHEREAS, the City of TukwiIa- is a municipal code city formed under duties
imposed under the provisions of Chapter 35A of the Revised Code of Washington; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tukwila has deemed it desirable to
adopt a Sewer System Plan Update in accordance with the provisions of WAC 173-240-
050;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA,
WASHINGTON, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The 2005 Sewer System Plan Update is hereby adopted.
Section 2 The plan is explicitly designed to be revised every six years to reflect
changes in the City of Tukwila Capital Improvement Program requiring facility
modifications as it relates to the standards outlined in WAC 173-240-050.
