There were present, Mayor E.F. Green Councilman A. J. Erickson Gouncilman F. J. Klein and, Councilman J. B. Heemink Councilman B. H. Kassner taking his seat at 8:45 P.M. was called The minutes of the last week were read and approved. REPORTS GF CO mITTEES Street Committee, Councilman Klein. The general improvemait work prcgresping in good order. Sidevialk on Reitz Ave. reported to be in bad condition. COMMUNICATIONS Treasury report was read and ordered filed. Letters from the Attorney General and the Prosecuting Attorney were read in order and filed. After general discussion it was moved and seconded -that the 81erk take the matter of the widewalk on Reitz Ave. up with the county commissioner. notion carried. Woved and seconded that the Street Committee repair the above sidewalk temporarily. +oticn carried. Elections, was read by the clerk. a:oved and seconded that it be adopted and passed. notion carried. Pr' BUSIPIESS Councilman Klein reported that the contractors had completed work. on the street improvements to the a.mcunt of 4$ 4?2.00. Sloved and seconded that a warrant be drawn for 801 of this amount, or $1137.69. Friction carried. Proposition of using 8" instead of 10" drain pi, bn the flat was drawp up and discussed. Referred to the Street Committee with power to act. General discussion was held reg!trding placing a. par'_-ing strip on 'fain Street. Moved and seconded that the Street Committee be instructed to install a. 2 ft. par'-kin strip on lyiain St. bet�keen Tukwila and Clarence Aves., and construct a- videwalk 1 ft. from the property line. Mlotion carried?. General discussion was held rejarding the details of the various'; street improvements with no definite action taken. No further business appearing the Council adjourned 10:00 P.
