As you may remember, PositIon #7 on the Human ServIces Advisory Board (the relIgious
community representative) has been vacant for some tIme
I am pleased to forward to you the application of Reverend Gary Vanderhoff, who would lIke to
serve on the Board. Filling this currently unexpired term, hIS appomtment would expIre on
Apnl 30, 2006.
Unless I hear otherwise from members of the Council by November 10th, I wIll be asking that
this appomtment be confirmed at the Regular City CouncIl meetmg on Monday, November 21st.

Attached please find 'attached an application for Reverend Gary Vanderhoff,
who would represent our faith-based position on our Human SeNices
Advisory Board. Reverend Vanderhoff has ministered in Tukwila (through
the Neighborhood Life Center) and is a very active member of the pastors
and Church of Tukwila group. He has been a vital link to our office in
networking with the Tukwila churches.
Please let me know if you have any questions regarding his appointment.
