Kimberly Matej, Legislative Analyst
The Work Session consisted of presentations and discussions regarding the Council review of the Shoreline
Master Program (SMP). The Shoreline Master Program will regulate the area 200 feet from the ordinary high
water mark through the City and potential annexation areas. Specifically, the Work Session focused on the
review of Matrix B and accompanying summary sheets.
Councilmembers recognized the need, and agreed to have two additional two -hour work sessions. Community
Development staff will work with the Legislative Analyst to determine and schedule dates for additional work
session.
The next Work Session will focus on continued review of Matrix B and the Summary Sheets beginning with
Section 11.
