The Work Session consisted of presentations and discussions regarding the Council review of the Shoreline
Master Program (SMP). The Shoreline Master Program will regulate the area 200 feet from the ordinary high
water mark through the City and potential annexation areas. Specifically, the Work Session focused on the
continued review of the SMP Summary Sheets as provided by DCD staff.
The next Work Session scheduled for Tuesday, November 17, 2009, will continue to focus on review of the
SMP Summary sheets. There was discussion regarding the possibility of having a Council meeting on
November 30, 2009, (5 Ih Monday of the month) to review the draft ordinances relative to adoption of the
Shoreline Master Program.
