The Work Session consisted of presentations and discussions regarding the Council review of the Shoreline
Master Program (SMP). The Shoreline Master Program will regulate the area 200 feet from the ordinary high
water mark through the City and potential annexation areas. Specifically, the Work Session Work Session
focused on the continued review of the SMP Summary Sheets as provided by DCD staff.
There are no remaining Work Sessions scheduled for Council review of the Shoreline Master Program. The
SMP and respective draft ordinances, as listed below, will be scheduled on the November 23, 2009, Committee
of the Whole for Council discussion.

Adopts Shoreline Master Program
Amends Comprehensive Plan to substitute new and revised policies in SMP
Repeals and replaces existing Shoreline Overlay (Tukwila Municipal Code Chapter 18, Section 44)
Amends the Definitions Chapter of the Zoning Code (Tukwila Municipal Code Chapter 18, Section 6)
