HomeMy WebLinkAbout1929-06-03 Special Minutes Tukwila, June 3, 1929 A special meeting of the Town Council was held in the Town Hall on the above date at 8:00 p. m. Those present were Mayor John R. Walkup and Councilmen S. H. Stevens, Philip Koenig, G. W. Wallen- berg and J. B. Heemink. The minutes of the last regular meeting and also of the special meetings of May 9 and of May 29 were read by the Clerk and were ap- proved as read. Communications from the Puget Sound Power:& Light Co. were read by the Clerk. It was moved, seconded and carried that the Clerk write acknowledging the receipt of the letters and thanking the Com— pany for its promptness in attending to the street lights. A letter from the Crane Company guaranteeing the siz inch pipe was read by the Clerk. A motion that the Council accept and approve the guarantee was made, seconded and carried. No further business appearing the Council adjourned by motion sine die at 8:30 p. m. Approved f q xl Mayor Clerk Tukwila, J e 3 1929 The first meeting of the twenty second Council was held in the Town Hall on the above date at 8:30 p. m. Those present were the new- ly elected and qualified Mayor John R. Walkup and the newly elected and qualified Councilman Philip Koenig,and, ouncilmen S. H. Stevens, J. B. Heemink and G. W. Wallenberg. The Mayor announced that J. C. Wickman, Councilman -elect was not able to present and to qualify due to sickness. A motion that the Clerk write a %ine to "r. ""ic'kman expressing the roimcill s sym- pathy for his illness and a wish for his speedy recovery was made, seconded and carried. The Mayor announced the following appointments: liarshal F. _ej.
