The regular monthly meeting of the Council of the Town of Tukwila was called to order by Councilman Klein on the above date at 8:10 P. M. There being no quorum present, the meeting was adjourned to Tuesday evening, 11'ay 13th 1924. Cie k Approved: `1t:ayor. Tukwila, L=1ash. May 13th 1924. Ti:e adjourned session of the regular monthly meeting of the Council of the Town of Tukwila was called to order by the 1 1 ,1ayor on the above date at 8:20 P. M. There were present Mayor E. F. Gree Councilmen W. F. Engel, M. L. Holmes and H. E. Ives; Councilmen F. J. Klein and J. C. Wickman being absent. Minutes of the last regular meeting were read by the Cler and approved as read. BILLS The following bills were read by the Clerk and after bein approved by the Finance Committee, it was regularly moved, seconded and carried that they be paid and warrants drawn for their respecti amounts. CURRENT EXPENSE FUND A. E. Hull Tukwila 2 50 E. E. Lutz tt 10 00 P. S. Power Light Co. Seattle 35 15 Renton Sand Gravel Co. Renton 164 TOTAL 211.65 COMMUNICATIONS The Town Treasurer's monthly report was read by the Clerk and ordered placed on file. Letter from the County Auditor advising the date for the incoming Council to take office was read by the Clerk and ordered placed on file. Letter from 1.1r. F. Gott protesting against the gravel from Tukwila Avenue being washed on his property was read by the Clerk. Regiiest from the Womens Improvement Club for permission t erect a building on their property was read by the Clerk. REPORTS OF COIMMITTEES. None. UNFINISHED BUSINESS. Moved and seconded that permission be granted the Wombs Improvement Club to erect a building as requested. Motion carried. Moved and seconded that the protest of Mr. F. Gott be referred to a special committee to investigate and report at the next meeting. Motion carried. Committee appointed: Councilmen Ives and Holmes. The Mayor stated that Mr. Walsh had authorized the neces- sary repairs to the sidewalk adjoining his property and the Street Committee was instructed to proceed with the work at once. NEW BUSINESS. None. No further business appearing the Council adjourned at 8:25 P.M. to meet in adjourned session on Saturday Evening, May 31st 1924. Approved E.F. Greene Mayor E.E. Lutz Clerk
