HomeMy WebLinkAbout1924-05-31 Adjourned Minutes Tukwila, Wash., May 31 1924 The adjourned session of the regular monthly meeting of the Council of the Town of Tukwila was called to order by the Mayor on the above date at 8:50 P. M. There were present Mayor E.F. Greene, Councilmen W.F. Engel, F.J. Klein and H.E. Ives; M.L. Holmes and J.C. Wickman being absent. Councilman Klein reported that he had advertised for bids for gravelling the various streets and had accepted the bid of the Renton Sand Gravel Co. at $2.00 per yard. They have proceeded wit] the work and although it is not completed, he advised waiting until fall with the remainder. He also stated that the sidewalk repairs adjoining Mr. Walsh's property had been completed and that several drains on the dtreets had been fixed although some cement was needed to complete this latter work. The Mayor then authorized him to get the cement and see that the work was completed. Councilman Ives reported that he had investigated the com- plaint filed by Mr. Gott at the former meeting but did not care to make a report at this time. The Mayor excused this committee from further duty and stated that the matter would be referred to the new Council. No further business appearing, the Council adjourned at 9:20 PM. Approved E.F.
