Equipment Outside the Fire Department Boundaries.)
BE IT RESOLVED, that the Fire Department of THE CITY OF TUKWILA
shall be permitted to respond with Emergency Medical
equipment for mutual aid response within other Fire Districts of Cities where
there is a signed Mutual Aid Agreement, and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that, KENT FIRE DEPARTMENT
and TUKWILA FIRE DEPARTMENT enter into a contract for automatic
response when a emergency medical alarm is received by either Fire Department
in an area of Zone 7145 of the City of Kent (see attached map), where distance
is a factor determining the need for emergency medical equipment response, the
emergency medical equipment that will respond shall be mutually determined
by the Chief Officers of the Departments.
This contract shall be binding upon both parties for a period of one
year and shall be automatically renewed for a similar term. This contract may
be terminated by either party only by giving written notice to the other party
not less than 30 days prior to the anniversary date of this
contract.
