The 11th Council of the Town
of Tukwila met in regular session in the
Council Chamber in Lutz Hall, Tuesday evening.
Meeting was called to order by Mayor
Stevens. Councilmembers Wallenberg Erickson
Klein Kassner and Hemmick answering to
the roll call.
Minutes of previous meeting read and approved.
Minutes of adjourned meeting read and approved.
Finance Committe no report
Streets and Sidewalks Committee no report
Fire Light Committee - Councilmember Kassner
reported that four new street lights had been
put up and called the attention of the Council
to the position of street lights previously put
in. The lights are now too close together.
Law and Ordinance Committee no report
Health Committee - councilmember Wallenberg
reported that a dead horse had been discovered
off the highway and was instructed to
attend to the matter.
Reports
The annual report of the Town Treasurer
was read and accepted and ordered placed on file.
The annual reprot of the Town Clerk
was read, accepted and ordered palced on file.
The report from the County Treasurer
was read and ordered placed on file.
Street Committee - Councilmember Klein
brought up the matter of the petition of D.K. Welt
to vacate certain lots east of the Interurban tracks
saying this matter should be ordered
to Town Attorney for proper advice.
Communication from the State Tax
Commissioner regarding assessment of the
Pacific Telephone and Telegraph Company
was read. Councilmember Klein moved
seconded by Councilmember Kassner that
the amtter be referred to the new council
for action. Carried.
Communication from the State Bureau of
Inspection read. Councilmember Kassner seconded
by Councilmember Klein moved to lay the
matter over to the new Council. Carried.
Communication from Office of Attorney
General read. Matter was referred to the
new council.
Communication from Joseph Hozack
tendering resignation as Town Clerk.
Councilmember Klein seconded by Councilmember
Kassner moved to accept the resignation
to take effect at the end of the meeting. Carried.
The following bills were read by the Clerk
and OK'd by the Finance Committee:

Councilmember kassner seconded by Councilmember
Wallenberg moved that the Clerk be instructed
to draw warrants for all bills OK'd by the
Finance Committee. Carried.
Mayor Stevens then made a few remarks
thanking the members of the Council for their support
and aid during the past four years, and that
all had worked together for
the best interests of the Town.
Councilmember Hemmick Chairman of the
Finance Committee then thanked the retiring
mayor for his untiring efforts in behalf of
the Town during the four years of his administration.
Councilmember Klein seconded by Councilmember
kassner then moved that the 11th Council
of the Town of Tukwila adjourn since die. Carried.
