SPONSOR'S King County sponsored the grant funded Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) related
SUMMARY to the S 180 St 43rd Ave S SE 176 St corridor. This Interlocal agreement with King
County and the City of Renton transfers ownership of the traffic control equipment to the
respective city, yet King County will operate and maintain the signals at County expense
for the two year duration of the Interlocal agreement. (Interlocal will also need to be
approved by Renton and KC Councils).
