I am pleased to submit the application of Mike Easter, who has applied to be a member of our
Sister CIties Committee. He would fill the vacancy III Position #4, created when Brian Kennedy
resigned from the Committee earlier this year.
Mr. Easter and hIS daughter were part of the recent delegation to Ikawa. I have reviewed hIS
applIcatIOn, and recommend his appointment to Position -Hi with his term expiring December
31.2006.
Also, Billy Georgiadis (Position #1) has moved out of the city and no longer qualIfies for the
Resident position, so I am recommending that he be moved to PosItIOn #7, the Mayor's
Representative, as he would like to continue to serve on the Board and PosItIOn #7 has been
vacant for some time. His tenn in Position #7 would expire December 31,2006.
Unless I hear otherwise from members ofthe Council, I will be inviting Mr. Easter to the
Regular City Council Meeting on Monday, June 20, 2005 to have his appointment confiffi1ed.
