This meeting of the Town Council was an
adjourned meetign from October 14th. It was called
to order by Mayor Hall for the purpose of
paying off the balance on the
.
Those present were:
Lutz Green Williams
Mr. Leavis reported that the work on the
road was about completed but because
the unusual fall of raina nd hence working
the work more difficult than originally a
urged the Council to make addiitonal appropriation
as follows.
the west side of the Hill $25.00
on the east side $75.00
Mr. Lewis also estimated taht the work necessary
for connection Clarence Avenue
would cost about $25.00.
Motion was made and duly carried that
the Superintendent be instructed to do the necessarywork
on the School road not to exceed $25.00 same
to be paid out of the emergency fund.
Motion was also made that the Town
appropriate an additional $100.00 for the
purpose of completing the and
same to be borrowed from Mr. Engel
same basis as the other loan. Same carried.
and work was ordered to draw warrants to
that purpose.
Motion was also made and carried that
1,000 feet of per the requirements
for use in various places.

Mr. Green had information
effect that that the County had
to build the new highway
through Tukwila to parallel
Interurban with no cost
the Town. However, the County Commissioners
requested that
Town procure right-of-way
within the boundary of Tukwila
to eliminate the cost
condemnation proceedings.
After discussion, the
decided to appointed a
outside of Council to
take that in charge.

The clerk was instructed to communicate
those parties to that effect.
