ORDINANCE NO. 3 3
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, AMENDING
THE 1985 BUDGET ADOPTED BY ORDINANCE NO. 1340 OF THE CITY,
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL ON DECEMBER 17, 1984, AS AMENDED
BY ORDINANCE NO. 1346, PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL ON
APRIL 1, 1985, ORDINANCE NO. 1351, PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
ON JUNE 17, 1985, ORDINANCE NO. 1357, PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
ON JULY 15, 1985 AND ORDINANCE NO. 1364, PASSED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL ON OCTOBER 7, 1985, TO APPROPRIATE UNANTICIPATED
REVENUES IN THE LAND ACQUISITION, BUILDING AND DEVELOPMENT
FUND FOR FUTURE PARK DEVELOPMENT LAND AND ESTABLISHING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, at the time of the adoption of the 1985 budget, it was not
known what the actual beginning fund balance would be, and
WHEREAS, it was not known what the actual sales tax collections
would be, and
WHEREAS, the additional fundsare available from unanticipated
beginning fund balance amounting to $9,600 and sales tax collections amounting to
$46,300, and
WHEREAS, the City Council deems it desirable to purchase certain
property at 53rd Avenue South and South 139th Street, and
WHEREAS, this purchase is compatible with the City of Tukwila
Park and Open Space Plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON,
DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The final budget for the fiscal year, 1935, as adopted
by Ordinance No. 1340, passed by the City Council on December 17, 1984, as
amended by Ordinance No. 1346, passed by the City Council on April 1, 1985,
Ordinance No. 1351, passed by the City Council on June 17, 1985, Ordinance
No. 1357, passed by the City Council on July 15, 1985, and Ordinance No. 1364,
passed by the City Council on October 7, 1985, is hereby further amended by
increasing revenues to the Land Acquisition, Building and Development Fund,
No. 301/291.700 by the sum of $9,600.00 and No. 301/313.100 by the sum of
$47,400.00; and by increasing appropriations from the Land Acquisition, Building
and Development Fund for the following line item:

Section 2. Ordinance No. 1340, passed by the City Council on
December 17, 1964, as amended by Ordinance No. 1346, passed by the City Council
on April 1, 1985, Ordinance No. 1351, passed by the City Council on June 17, 1985,
Ordinance No. 1357, passed by the City Council on July 15, 1985, and Ordinance
No. 1364, passed by the City Council on October 7, 1985, is hereby further amended
by revising the summary of totals of estimated revenues and appropriations for
each separate fund and the aggregate total of all such funds combined incorporated
in said ordinance to reflect the foregoing increases in revenues and appropriations
as set forth in Section 1 of this ordinance.
Section 3. The Finance Director is hereby authorized and instructed
to effectuate the necessary changes to the 1985 budget and to make all necessary
and appropriate line item entries and adjustments in order to reflect the
increases to revenues and appropriations as set forth in this ordinance.
Section 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
five (5) days after passage and publication as provided by law.
