JEH/ko 11/1/85 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY ADOPTED BY ORDINANCE NO. 1247 BY ESTABLISHING A ZONING CLASSIFICATION ON CERTAIN PROPERTY RECENTLY ANNEXED TO THE- CITY AND COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE 51ST AVENUE SOUTH BETWEEN SOUTH 164TH AND SOUTH 166TH ANNEXATION. WHEREAS, the real property commonly known as the 51st Avenue South between South 164th and South 166th Annexation and more particularly described hereinafter, was annexed to the City of Tukwila by Ordinance No. 1365, passed by the City Council on October 7, 1985, and WHEREAS, the Tukwila Planning Commission at a public hearing held on October 24, 1985, considered a final zoning classification for the subject property and adopted findings, conclusions and a recommendation to the City Council that the property be zoned R- 1-7.2 and, WHEREAS, the City Council reviewed the recommendation of the Planning Commission at public meetings held on November 12 and 18, 1985, adopted findings and conclusions, and determined to establish the final zoning classification for the property as provided for herein, and WHEREAS, the City's SEPA Responsible Official has determined that there is no significant adverse environmental impact as a result of the final zoning classification, now, therefore, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Zoning Established. The Official Zoning Map of the City of Tukwila, as adopted by Ordinance No. 1247 of the City, is hereby amended by establishing the zoning classification of R- 1-7.2 for the newly annexed real property commonly known as the 51st Avenue South between South 164th and South 166th Annexation, and more particularly described as follows: Section 2. Duties of Planning Director. The Planning Director is hereby directed to effectuate the necessary amendments to the Official Zoning Map of the City of Tukwila as authorized herein. Section 3. Effective Date. This ordinance or a summary thereof shall be published in the official newspaper of the City, and shall take effect and be in full force five (5) days after the date of publication. On �G`yi'Cc. ,g, 1985, the City Council of the City of Tukwila passed Ordinance No. /3 7 which provides as follows: Section 1. Establishes a zoning classification of R -1 -7.2 for the real property commonly known as the 51st Avenue South between South 164th and South 166th Annexation, which is legally described as follows: Section 2. Directs the Planning Director to change the Official Zoning Map. Section 3. Establishes an effective date. The full text of this ordinance will be mailed without charge to anyone who submits a written request to the City Clerk of the City of Tukwila for a copy of the text.
