Subject: Grant Applications for Transportation Improvement Board Funding
ISSUE
Grant applications for submittal to the Transportation Improvement Board.
BACKGROUND
Project grant applications to be considered for Transportation Improvement Board
(TIB) funding must be postmarked by August 31, 2004.
ACTION TAKEN
Public Works staff met with TIB staff to review and discuss potential project
applications.
The following three projects were discussed.
1. Southcenter Parkway Extension - South 180th Street to South 200th Street
2. Klickitat Southcenter Parkway / I-5 Access Revision
3. South 144th Street Phase 2
All of the projects listed are being evaluated and scored internally to determine if a
grant application should be submitted at this time. Those projects thiit are expected to
score well enough to compete for funding at this time will be submi/ted.
RECOMMENDATION
Approve submittal Of those grant applications deemed competitive at this time.
