SUBJECT: Fiscal Agent for V-NET
This year I am continuing to Chair the Executive Board for the Valley Narcotics Enforcement Team (V-
NET). This Partnership to fight mid to upper level drug dealing in our region now includes Tukwila, Auburn,
Renton, Kent, and the King County Sheriff's Office. This year up until June 30, our Finance Department has
been acting as the official fiscal agent for V-NET. This is the second year we have had that responsibility
and I am requesting that we continue in that role for one more year t~om July 1, 2004 until June 30, 2005. I
have discussed this extension with our Finance Director who supports this extension.
