ORDINANCE NO. 12Sl
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON,
AMENDING THE 1985 BUDGET ADOPTED BY ORDINANCE NO. 1340
OF THE CITY, PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL ON DECEMBER
17, 1984, AS AMENDED BY ORDINANCE NO. 1346, PASSED BY
THE CITY COUNCIL ON APRIL 1, 1985, AND ORDINANCE NO.
1351, PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL ON JUNE 17, 1985, TO
APPROPRIATE UNANTICIPATED REVENUES IN THE FEDERAL
REVENUE SHARING FUND FOR CHEMICAL SUITS, TYPEWRITER,
COUNCIL CHAMBERS EQUIPMENT AND ESTIMATED ENDING FUND
BALANCE AND ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, at the time of the adoption of the 1985 budget, the amount
of Beginning Fund Balance could only be estimated, and
WHEREAS, there is an excess of actual Beginning Fund Balance over the
estimate, and
WHEREAS, there is a need to appropriate funding for two Fire
Department Chemical units damaged during an aid response to the City of Kent,
a replacement typewriter for Personnel, and City Council Chamber podium and
related equipment purchases, and
WHEREAS, the City Council deems it desireable to appropriate the
unanticipated beginning fund balance for two chemical suits, one typewriter,
City Council Chamber equipment and the remainder to accrue to the Estimated
Ending Fund Balance of the Federal Shared Revenue Fund.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON,
DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The final budget for the fiscal year, 1985, as adopted by
Ordinance No. 1340, passed by the City Council on December 17, 1984, as
amended by Ordinance No. 1346, passed by the City Council on April 1, 1985,
and Ordinance No. 1351, passed by the City Council on June 17, 1985, is hereby
further amended by increasing revenues to the Federal Shared Revenue Fund, No.
199 291 700, by the sum of $14,450.00; such revenues have been received as
unanticipated Beginning Fund Balance; and by increasing appropriations from
the Federal Shared Revenue Fund for the following line items:

Section 2. Ordinance No. 1340, passed by the City Council on
December 17, 1984, as amended by Ordinance No. 1346, passed by the City
Council on April 1, 1985, and Ordinance No. 1351, passed by the City Council
on June 17, 1985, is hereby further amended by revising the summary of totals
of estimated revenues and appropriations for each separate fund and the aggre-
gate total of all such funds combined incorporated in said ordinance to
reflect the foregoing increases in revenues and appropriations as set forth in
Section 1 of this ordinance.
Section 3. The Finance Director is hereby authorized and instructed
to effectuate the necessary changes to the 1985 budget and to make all
necessary and appropriate line item entries and adjustments in order to
reflect the increases to revenues and appropriations as set forth in this
ordinance.
Section 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect five (5)
days after passage and publication as provided by law.
