ORDINANCE NO. 13 -5-4
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON,
AMENDING THE 1985 BUDGET ADOPTED BY ORDINANCE NO. 1340
OF THE CITY, PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL ON DECEMBER
17, 1984, AS AMENDED BY ORDINANCE NO. 1346, PASSED BY
THE CITY COUNCIL ON APRIL 1, 1985, AND ORDINANCE NO.
1351, PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL ON JUNE 17, 1985, TO
APPROPRIATE UNANTICIPATED REVENUES IN THE CURRENT
FUND FOR A TEMPORARY SECRETARY POSITION, SUPPLIES,
PROFESSIONAL SERVICES, AND OTHER SERVICES AND CHARGES
TO IMPLEMENT EFFLUENT TRANSFER SYSTEM AGREEMENT WITH
METRO PER CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, RESOLUTION NO.
961 AND ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, at the time of the adoption of the 1985 budget, the Effluent
Transfer System Agreement was not signed, and
WHEREAS, the City requires additional resources to implement Exhibit
A of Resolution No. 961, an Interagency Agreement with METRO for the Effluent
Transfer System, and
WHEREAS, the City Council deems it desireable to appropriate the
anticipated reimbursements from METRO and appropriate a temporary secretary
position (Grade 12), supplies, professional services, and other charges.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON,
DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The final budget for the fiscal year, 1985, as adopted by
Ordinance -No. 1340, passed by the City Council on December 17, 1984, as
amended by Ordinance No. 1346, passed by the City Council on April 1, 1985,
and Ordinance No. 1351, passed by the City Council on June 17, 1985, is hereby
further amended by increasing revenues to the Current Fund, No. 000 338 320
by the sum of $77,030.00; such revenues will be received as reimbursements for
services provided on behalf of METRO and by increasing appropriations from the
Current Fund for the following line items:

Section 2. Ordinance No. 1340, passed by the City Council on
December 17, 1984, as amended by Ordinance No. 1346, passed by the City
Council on April 1, 1985, and Ordinance No. 1351, passed by the City Council
on June 17, 1985, is hereby further amended by revising the summary of totals
of estimated revenues and appropriations for each separate fund and the aggre-
gate total of all such funds combined incorporated in said ordinance to
reflect the foregoing increases in revenues and appropriations as set forth in
Section 1 of this ordinance.
Section 3. The Finance Director is hereby authorized and instructed
to effectuate the necessary changes to the 1985 budget and to make all
necessary and appropriate line item entries and adjustments in order to
reflect the increases to revenues and appropriations as set forth in this
ordinance.
Section 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect five (5)
days after passage and publication as provided by law.
