A Special Meeting of the Town Council .:a:.s held on the above date.
There were present:
J. M-1. Hall, ayor,
E. V% Engle,
F.E. Lutz -and
I Williams, Councilmen.
at 8:40 P.M.,
l,eeting was Balled to order by the Layor,/ ho stated that
this Special Meeting had been called it pursuance to notices
regularly posted, for the purpose of deciding on the tax levy
for the ensuing year, and for the purpose of permitting any person
to be heard who .;ished to object to the said levy.
There being no ob4ections, a. :notion was r:lade, seconded and
duly carried, declaring a yen dill (.OMO) LFvyfor meeting the
expenses of City Government, Improvements, Maintenance and
Repairs for the year 1914, and the Clerk :na:.s instructed to
prepare an Ordinance in .regular forru for that purpose to be
presented at the next regular meeting of the Council.
There appearir_•g no further business, meeting was adjourned
at the hour of 9:20.
