December 10, 1912.
The regular Meeting of the Town Council was held on the above
date in Lutz' Hall.
There were Present:
Jacob Guntert, Ilay or.
D.F.Williams,
O.E. Santhuff,
Eugene Sandahl and
Lutz, Councilmen.
Ideeting teas. called to order by the iayor at 0:10 P.I.
Minutes of last meeting vrere read and approved.
No Reports of Comn;Ittees.
The following bills there read, approved and warrants
ordered drawn in their payment: H.E.Ives, :s.75; Caroline Lutz,
2.00; I:irs. II.I .Coates, 1.00; S;I.lyers, 13.65; J.L.Durbin, 7.20;
II.Weiderman, 21.35; Orrillia Lbr. Co., 15.50; E.F.Greene, 5.50;
S.Id.Chambers..7.65; Total $77.60.
Communications read and ordered on file except the
Petition for Disircorporation.
The matter of deeds on Clarence Avenue was brought up
and laid over until next meeting.
Mayor instructed Finance Committee to inspect Treasurer's
books at end of year and rep•_!rt at next meeting.
Mayor instructed Clerk to notify successful candidates
in the recent municipal*electiori of their electionn.
Motion was made by I:r. Doty to lay some plank on 2nd
Avenue and on Riverside Avenue. Seconded and carried.
Motion made that Mayor appoint a Committee of three to
look over the petition for disincorporation and report at next
meeting. ,I otion lost.
Iio'tion made that Mayor appoint a committee of three to
look over petition for disincorporation, at once, and report.
carried. Committee An Williams, Doty and Sandahl.
Committee reported as follows: Total number of names, 79;
withdrawn and scratched, 13; doubtful, 2. Legal signets of
the petition to disincorporate, 66. Motion made and seconded
that the oetition be left in the rands of the clerk and a com-
mittee of three be an to loo#( up the law and report at
the next meeting. Carried. Committee appointed: 77illiams,
Doty and Sandahl.
Iar. Hill iams reported upon the progress made in installing
City lights. Roved and carried that the sum of :210.00 be
annrnpriated for a deposit with the P.S.L.Ry. Co. for Street
Lights., Carried.
The matter of extending lights onto the Flats was brought
up and discussed.
There being no further business meeting adjourned at 9:40
