Treasures of Tukwila are those citizens in good standing in the community who have
made a substantial contribution to improve civic life. Additionally, the nominees
should affect a meaningful segment of the community in a positive and lasting way.
By their willingness to volunteer in a number of ways and to partake in a wide
variety of community events, Bob and Joanne McManus exemplify the best of
Tukwila. They have been chosen as the 2003 Treasures of Tukwila.
