The regular monthly meeting of the Town Council was held at Lutz Hall vn the above date, being called to order by the M=ayor at the hour of 8:15 o'clock P.M. There were Present: Jacob Guntert, mayor. E.E. Lutz, D.A.Williams, Eugene Sandahl, Councilmen: The resignation of ;fir. J. R. Gilleland as Councilman was received and accepted, after which the Mayor appointed A. E.Banthuff as Councilman to fill his unexpired term, who immediately qualified by taking the customary Oath of Office and entered at once upon his duties. REPORTS OF COI.M.ITTEES Finance Committee. No Report to make. Street Committee. Reports good progress of the Street work now under way. This Committee also reports, for the benefit the people living on the Flat, that negotia. tions with the P.S.E.Railway Co. are now pending where the drainage question is like] to be settled at an early date in a manner satisfactory to everyone interested; the R.F people having signified their willingness, t a letter to the Committee, to do anything _necessary, within reason, to accomplish thie purpose. Fire, Mater and Light Committee. Eo Report. Laws Ordinances. _r. Lutz, as Chairman of this Committee, stated there were no reports to make, and requested the Mayor to appoint some other member of the Council in his place. Ways and Means Committee. Bo Report. Town Property. Kr. Williams, Chairman of this Committee, reports the addition to the property of the :own of two 'Wheel Scrapers, of the value of $120.00 He also reported that the Town had acquired a strip of land (100 Sq. Ft.) from Mrs. Coates' place, for the improvement and bene fit of Riverside Avenue, at a cost of x10,0 This property stands of record in the name of Mrs. Lewis Coates; the Town to stand the expense of making the deed and moving the fence The following bills were read, approved by the Auditing Committee and warrants ordered drawn for their payment; Frank fgcDonald -.75, $15.60; F.Weidermann, $5.00, $4.1.5, $19.tiO; Chas.
