The regular monthly meeting of the Council of the Town of Tukwila
was called to order by the Mayor at 8 :30 P. M. There were present Mayor
E. F. Green, Councilmen W. F. Engel, H. E. Ives, and F. J. Klein; councilmen
M. L. Holmes and C. G. Sanders being absent.
The minutes of the last regular, as well as the special meeting,
were read by the Clerk and apt as read.
B I L L S
The following bills were read by the Clerk, and after being oked
by the Finance Committee it was moved, seconded, and carried that warrants
be drawn for their respective amounts:

COMMUNICATIONS
The Town Treasurer's report was read and ordered placed on file.
REPORTS OF COMMITTNES
Street Committee. Councilman Klein.
The necessary lumber to complete the various sidewalks throughout
the town has been ordered and it is expected this work will he completed in the
near future. Several streets are in bad condition and will be repaired as soon
as weather permits.
UNFINISHED BUSINESS
The controversy over the rood leading to Mr. Ton's property was again
brought up and after a general discussion the matter was referred to the Ways
Means Committee who will meet on the property on January 14th at 10:30 A.M. to
consider the advisability of installing a corduroy road.
NEW BUSINESS
Mr. Erickson appeared before the Council and requested that repairs
be made on the drains and culverts near the south end of Bluff Street. The
matter was referred to the Street Committee.
Several members of the Council spoke on the necessity of issuing
certificates of delinquency on some of the delinquent local improvement assess-
