The regular monthly meeting of the Council of the Totirt of T ukwila was
called to order by the Mayor on the above date at 3:30 P. M. The.-e were present
Mayor E. F. Greene, Councilmen 7'. F. Engel, H. E. Ives, F. J. laein and C, G.
Sanders; councilman M. L. iloimes being absent.
The minutes of the last regular meeting were read by the clerk and
approved as read.
BILLS
The following bills were read by the clerk and after being oked by the
Finance Comr.ittee, it was ;,loved, seconded and carried that warrants be drairf, for
their respective amounts and the bills be paid.

The Town Treasur report was reed by the clerk and ordered placed on
file,
REPORTS OF COIX1ITTEES
Street Committee Councilman Engel
Wing to the bad weather, no work I,as been dome on either sidewalks or
streets. It is expected that all necessary repairs will be made as soon -s :Ioa;h
permits.
UNFINISHED BUSINESS
The bonds for Town Clerk, Town Treasurer and Police Judge were presen-
ted by the clerk and it was regularly roved, seconded and carried that they be
approved by the Council.
Ordinance No. 99, Relating to Loc_tl T- mprovements in 'Uhc Torn of Tuk':Ii1
was read by the Clerk. After some di scuosio_z it xas roved, seconded and carried
that this 0 be put on its first reading.
NEW BUSINESS
Councilman Sanders made a brief report on the last meeting of the Boar
of School Directors.
iir. H. M. Myers appeared before the Council 9-nd a:' protested a� ;ains�
the amount charged for grading for tale walk on the Pacific highway adjoin rg Mr.
S. Myers' property. After some discussion it wao moved and seconded that the pro
test be rejected and amount originally assessed still stated. 11otion carried.

Discussion was brought up regarding the establishing of an Auto Park.
No action was taken however.
Mr. C. P. Jensen reported that the :liver was again cutting into the
bank near Second Avenue, but not nearly as bad as last year. He stated that the
former work had all held but that a little additional work was needed. The Mayor
appointed a Committee consisting of Councilmen Sanders, Klein_ nAd '78C s-
tigate the situation and report at the next meeting.
