called to order by the Mayor on the above date at 8:20 P. M. There were present
Mayor E. F. Greene, Councilmen W. F. Engel, H. E. Ives, F. J. Klein, C. G. Sanders
and M. L. Holmes.
The minutes of the last regular meeting were read by the clerk and
approved as read.

The following bills were read by the clerk and after being 0.Ked by the
Finance Committee it was moved seconded and carried that warrants be drawn for their
respective amounts and the bills be paid.

COMMUNICATIONS
The Town Treasurer's report was read by the Clerk and ordered placed
on file.
The resignation of Mr. J. L. Durbin as Police Magistrate wan read by
the Clerk. Moved and seconded that the resignation be accepted. Motion carried.
REPORTS OF COMMITTEES
Street Committee Councilman Engel
The various streets throughout the Town are in as good condition as could
be expected with the bad weather and it is expected that all necessa_y re2airs will
be made as soon as weather permits.
River Improvement Committee Councilman Ives
Investigation shows that the river is gradually cutting into Second Ave,
and it is recommended that some action be taken to remedy the situation. After a
brief discussion on this matter it was moved, seconds and carried that $50.00 be
appropriated to haul rock to use in this work. Motion carried.
UNFINISHED BUSINESS
Ordinance 99, Relating to the Construction of Sidewalks in the Town
of Tukwila was read by the clerk. Moved and seconded that the action taken on
Ordinance No. 99 as read at the last meeting, be rescinded. Motion carried.
Moved and seconded that an emergency exist and that Ordinance No. 99 as read at
this meeting be adopted. Motion carried. Moved and seconded that April 19th be
designated as the date for hearing protests ac provided in Ord n nce No.
Motion Carried.
NEW BUSINESS
Councilman Klein reported that the Sewer on Main Street should be exten-
ded to the river. Moved and seconded that the Street Superintendent be authorized
to make the necessary improvements. Motion carried
No further 9usiness appearing, the Council adjourned at 9:30 P. M.
