The regular monthly meeting of the Council of the Town of Tukwila was
called to order by the Mayor on the above date at 8:15 P. M. There were present
Mayor E.F, Greene, Councilmen W.F. Engel, H.E. Ives, F.J. Klein, M.L. Holmes
and C.G. Sanders.
The minutes of the last regular meeting were read by the Clerk and
approved as read.
BILLS
The following bills were read by the clerk and after being 0Ked by
the Finance Committee, it was moved, seconded and carried that they be paid and
warrants be drawn for their respective amounts.

REPORTS OF CCMMITTEES
Street River Committees Councilman Sanders
A11 :necessary repairs to the streets throughout the Town have been
completed and they are now in first class condition. The work authorized on the
river bank on Second Avenue has been completed and approved by the Special
Committee appointed for that purpose.
NEW BUSINESS
Mr. John Ton appeared before the Council and asked that $250.00 be
appropriated to improve Riverside and Outlet Avenues. After some discussion,
it was moved, seconded and carried that Councilman Klein survey the two streets
in question in order to establish the correct lines of the adjoining property.
Mr. J. Johnson appeared before the Council and requested that steps
be taken by the Council to drain the low land on the west side or the Pacific
Highway which includes his property. After a brief discussion, the Mayor instruct
ed Councilman Klein to investigate the situation and report at the next meeting.
Treasurer C.P. Jensen reported that the loan from the Sinking Fund 1919
Bond Issue was now due and that he had sufficient funds to repay it. Moved and
seconded that the Town Treasurer be instructed to deposit the sum of $730.90 in
the Washington Mutual Savings Bank of Seattle to the credit of the Sinking Fund
1919 Bond Issue and arrange for a bond for that Bank. Motion Carried.
The question of installing additional street lights was brought up and
after some discussion the Mayor instructed the clerk to order street lights placed
in the following locations: one at the corner of Mr. Weiderman's property on River.
side Avenue; one in the Summitt View Addition opposite Mr. Fox's property.
The Mayor also instructed the Street Superintendent to replace the railing on
Riverside Avenue at Mr. McDonald's corner.
