The regular monthly meeting of the Council of 'ie Town of Tukwila was
called to order by the Mayor on the above date at 8:15 P. M. There were present
Mayor E.F. Greene, Councilmen W.F. Engel, M.L. Holmes, H.E. Ives and F.J.
Klein; Councilman C.G. Sanders being absent.
The minutes of the last regular meeting were read by the Clerk and
approved as read.
BILLS
The following bills were read by the Clerk and after being 0 Ked by the
Finance Committee, it was moved, seconded and carried that,they be paid and war-
rants drawn for their respective amounts:
A.E. Hull, Tukwila 2 50
E.E. Lutz, 10 00
Puget Sound Power Light Co. Seattle 15
TOTAL 45 65
COMMUNICATIONS
The Town Treasurer's monthly report was read by the Clerk and ordered
placed on file.
REPORTS OF COMMITTEES
Streets Sidewalks Councilman Engel:
The majority of streets throughout the town are in fairly good condi-
tion. Several minor repair jobs have not been done owing to the inability to
get men to work. It is expected that this will be eenedied in the near future
however.
Street Lights Councilman Ives:
Moved and seconded that the installing of additional street lights
be postponed indefinately. Notion carried.
UNFINISHED BUSINESS
A report giving the amount of money spent by the Town to date this
year as compared with the Budget was read by the Clerk.
After a brief discussion regarding the work necessary on the Ton Road,
it was moved, seconded and carried that the matter be laid on the table indefi-
nately.
NEW BUSINESS
An informal discussion was held regarding the water situation between
the various members of the Council and several citizens present. No action was
taken however.
