The regular monthly meeting of the Councilof the Town of Tukwila was
called to order by the Mayor on the above date at 8:15 P. M. There were present
Mayor E.F. Greene,Councilmen F.J. Klein, W.F. Engel and H.E. Ives; Council-
men M.L. Holmes and C.G. Sanders being absent.
The minutes of the last regular meeting were read by the clerk and
approved as read.
BILLS
The following bills were read by the Clerk and after being 0Ked by the
Finance Committee, it was moved,seconded and carried that They be pid and warrants
drawn for their respective amounts:

COMMUNICATIONS
The Town Treasurer's monthly report was read by the Clerk and ordered
placed on file.
REPORTS OF COMMITTEES
Streets Sidewalks Councilman Engel:
A small amount of repair work has been done on various streets and the
majority of them are in good condition. A smallamount of work is still needed on
the flat and several other places.
NEW BUSINESS
A proposed budget covering the expenses of the Town for the coming year
was read by the Clerk. Moved and seconded that the budget be adopted subject to
protest which may be filed at a meeting for that purpose on October lst. Motion
carried.
A general discussion was held regarding what action should be taked in
regard to the water situation. No action was taken however.
A discussion was brought up regarding the street work necessary before
bad weather began. Moved and seconded that $150.00 be appropriated to make the
necessary repairs on the alley between let and 2nd Ave., Maule Avenue south of the
R.R. crossing, Riverside Avenue between Tukwila Avenue and Highland Drive, Warren
Avenue and the drain on Bluff Street. Motion Carried.
Moved and seconded that three additional street lights be installed,
at Sanders on the flat, Erickson's and Wiedemann's on the hill. Motion carried.
No further business appearing, the Council adjourned at 9:10 P. M.
