Tukwila, Wash., February 1st 1924
A special meeting of the Council of the Town of Tukwila
duly called for the purpose of passing an Ordinance validating the
submission to the voters at the Election on March llth 1924 the
question of a Bond Issue in the sth.m of 033000.00 to be used in the
installation of a water system in the Town of Tukwila was called to
odder by the Mayor on the above date at 8:25 P. M. There were prese]
Mayor E. F. Greene, Councilmen W. F. Engel, H. E. Ives, F. J. Klein
M. L. Holmes and J. C. Wickman.
Ordinance No. 105, an Ordinance specifying and adopting a
system or plan for the acquisition by the Town of Tukwila of a mun-
icipal water works system, declaring the estimate cost thereof as nE
as may be and providing for the issuance of $7,000.00 General Negoti.
able Coupon Bonds of said Town and $2,6000.00 Bonds payable from the
revenues of such water works system for the purpose of paying the
cost of acquiring the same and providing for the submission of said
system or plan and the issuance of said Bonds to the qualified elec'
ors of said Town at the General Election to be held therein on Marc]
llth 1924, was read by the Clerk. Moved and seconded that Ordinanc(
No. 105 be placed upon its second reading and be read by title only
Motion carried. The clerk then read Ordinance No. 105 by title onl:
Moved and seconded that Ordinance No. 105 be placed upon its third
and final reading and be read by title only. Motion carried. The c1(
then read Ordinance No. 105 by title only.
Moved and seconded that Ordinance No. 105 be adopted and
passed and become effective from and after its passage and publica-
tion. Roll call vote called for resulted as follows:

Councilman Wickman Yes
No further business appearing the Council adjourned at 9:00 PM.
