Pursuant to notice regularly served on each Councilman in due time, a Special Meeting of the Town Council of Tukwila was held on the above date. Meeting was called to order by the Mayor at the hour of 8:25 P,M, There were present: G. W. Wallenberg, A. J. Erickson, F. J. Klein and B. H. Kassner, Mr. J. B, Heeminck being absent and having sent notice to the Mayor that on account of an accident he was unable to be present. The Clerk being unable to beppresent, Mar. F. J. Klein was appointed Clerk pro tam. The -ayor stated -the purpose of the meeting, which was for the pur- pose of repealing Ordinance No. 80, relating to the proposed Bond Issue of Tukwila, and which had been found inadequate, whereupon Ordinance No, 81, repealing Ordinance No. 80, and Ordinance No. 82, authorizing the calling of a Special Election for the purpose of voting upon the bonds as aforesaid were, upon motion duly made, seeonded and carried,placed upon their first and second readings, respectively, and mm by unanimous vote of the Council adopted. 1W further business appearing, a motion to adjourn at the hour of 10 o'clock P.M, carried. F. J. KLEIN, Clerk pro tem. Tukwila, Washington, April 3, 1919. A Special Heating of the Tour. Council was held on the above date. There were present: E. F. Greene, alkyor. F. G. Klein, G. W. Wallenberg and A. J. Erickson, Councilmen. The Clerk not being-present, and there being no objections, Cdr. Klein was appointed Clerk pro tem, The Mayor stated that the meeting had been called by request of citizens of the town living on the "Flat they desiring the Council to state specifically just what improvements they contemplate making in the event the bond issue carries at the Special Election to be held on Saturday, April 5th. -After a general discussion taken part in by several of the citizens of the Flat, a motion was made, seconded and carried that Maule Avenue, First and Secohd Avenues be filled to a grade above ordinary high water; the exact level to be determined after surveying, Also to put in an adequate drain to carry off surface water from the low lands contiguous to the improvements as above outlined. #All of the above improvements contingent upon the Bond Issue carrying at the Election on April 5th. The Clerk was instructed to notify the Puget Sound Electric Railway that the plank on crossing south of Town needed replacing. Motion to adjourn at this time carried. t F. G.
