Councilman Kassner reported that a small amount of work was necessary on
Highland Drive and made a motion that $35.00 be appropriated for same. Seconded and
carried.
Councilman Kassner asked that a new ordinance be drawn up for the empound-
ing of live stock, allowing $1.00 per day for feeding and also providing for the
care of milk cows. Referred to the Ordinance Committee for action.
Councilman Erickson reported that a tree had blown down on Bluff Street
and broken the sidewalk. Referred to the Street Committee to clear street and repair
walk
It was reported that there were open wells on Mr. Allison's and Mr. Blank
enship's property that were dangerous and after a general discussion the matter was
referred to the Street Committee to cover IT. Allison's well with logs and to confer
with Mr. Blankenship regarding the covering of his well.
The question of hiring a motorcycle policeman was again brought up and
after a lengthy discussion the mayor stated he would take the matter under advisement
The matter of the dead horse on the flat was again brought up and the
mayor advised that as soon as the water had receded sufficiently, he would see that
the Health Committee would dispose of same.
Councilman Kassner recommended that a team be sent around town to gather
up any garbage that might be collected. After a short discussion, a motion was made
and seconded that a team be hired for this purpose and the citizens be notified to
have all garbage ready for collection. Roll call vote taken as follows: Erickson,
No;- Wallenberg, Yes; Klein -No; Kasoner, Yes; Heemink, Yen; Motion carried.
The Mayor announced that in iriformal meeting of the Council *could be held
at his home on Thursday Evening, May 1 -5th, and requested all members to be present.
No further business appearing, council adjourned at 10 ;30 P. M.

A Special meeting of the Town Council of Tukwila was held on the above
date at the residence of the Mayor..
There Were present:
E. F. Greene, Mayor
F. G. Klein
B. H. Kassner,
A. J. Erickson, Councilmen
G. W. Wallenburg
J. B. Heemink
The Clerk being absent, Mr. Klein was appointed Clerk pro tem.
Meeting A called to order at the hour of 8 :45 P.M.
!'he f:ayor stated that th; special meeting had been called for the
consideration of the Fill on the LO Lemon Road, and requested Mr. Klein to
make a statement to the Council as to conditions existing in that regard,
which. Yr. Klein did. After listening to Mr. Ylein's ramarks, a motion was
made by Mr. Kassner, seconded by Mr. Erickson, that an Emergency be declared
to exist in connection with this Mork and that the Street Conr„ittee proceed
to procure bids for the work. The Specifications for the work were read
and after some discussion by unanimous vote approved and the Clerk was
instructed to proceed in the regular Danner to secure bids.
After a short discussion of various matters of interest in regard to
the Town and a few remarks by some of the members for the Public Good and
Welfare,,there being no further business to come before the meeting,
Pdjournment was taken.at 9 :45 o'clock P.M.
