June 17, 1920.
The adjourned meeting of the Council of the Town of Tukwila was called to s
j' order by the Mayor on the above date at $:25 P. M. There were present,

The minutes of the last meeting were read and approved.
REPORTS OF COMBRITTESS
'gtreet Uommittee. Councilman Klein.
Theyroperty owners throughout the town have been notified regardin
damaged sidewalks. ome have been fixed; others are still in bad condition. Nher
necessary the streets have been scraped and put in good order.
Health Committee. Councilman Engel.
TEe Heat. ih Ufricer made a trip th• ough the 'down on Sunday June 1814
and investigated conditions. The Committee has received no report from him as yet.
The motion was made and seconded that the Clerk be instructed to notify
the agent of the White property on Main Street to abate the nuisance now existing at
once. Motion carried.
Special Committee on Motorcycle. Councilman vei
inasmuch as ffere�iave been no recent ids on the machine it
was recommended that an advertisement be placed in the paper-.
Ways Mel-ns. Councilman Klein.
The matter of Defer property was brought up and more time
is requested by the Committee. Request granted.
COADIUNICdTIONS.
T'reasurer's Report read Hnd ordered filed.
Communication from Jones, Ridell Brackett; town attorneys, regarding
'lawsuits with the street contractors was read by the Clerk and the matter.referred

to new business.
;i Renewal of the Bond for the National Bank of:Commeree as town depository
was presented to the Council for adoption. Moved and seconded the Bond be adopted.
Motion carried.

The following bills were read by the Clerk and after being by the
Finance Committee it was moved, seconded, and carried that they be paid and warrants
drawn for their respective amounts:

ft w..s moved and seconded that the Mayor be authorized to obtain a per
Ito put a sidewalk along side of the Pacific Highway. Motion carried.
Moved and seconded that the Clerk be instructed to draw resolution

the Bluff. Motion carried.
Moved and seconded the Clerk be instructed to notify the property owners
that this walk has been condemned and that they be given thirty days to replace same
For it will be removed. Motion carried.
Moved and seconded the Street Superintendent be instructed to have the
dirt removed from the new walks from Main Street and ad,7'acent streets Motion carried.
Loved and seconded that the request for t.100.00 retainer's fee to Jones, V.
Riddell Brackett be paid. Motion carried.

The question of location for ai%nd was brought up and discussed at
length. The matter w4raferi�ed to the Ways Deans Committee with pourer to act.
The Mayor appointed Mr. Frank McDonald as Pound Master, which appointment
was approved by the Council.
No further business occurring the meeting adjourned at 9:55 P. M.
