The minutes of the last meeting were recd and approved as read. UNFINISFIED BU1 ��The �Mayor rej opted that owing to several signers la -ekirg on the petition to open up Rice Avenue nothing could be done until these signatures could be obtained. Treasurer C. F. Jensen requested thst the money recently deposited in the Washington Mutual Savings Bank against the Sinking Fund 1919 Bond Issue be loaned to the General Fund for a, period of six months. Moved and seconded that $700.00 be loaned to the 6urrent Bxr.ense Fund from the 1919 Bond Redemption Fund for a period of six months. Lotion carried. 393 2 September 15th, 1922. (Conti.) On a recommendation from the State Inspector the Clerk was instructed to draw up Ordinances fixing the salary of the Treasurer and fixing a legal reeting place for the Council. Prr. Lesley Smith, a state inspector of municipalities, was present and made an interesting talk before the Council as to the condition of the town, and also made several recorinendations which were grateful received.
