CALL TO ORDER: Committee Chair Duffie called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m.

II. BUSINESS AGENDA
A. Aquatics Update
Malcolm Neely gave a brief PowerPoint presentation on activities at the Tukwila City Pool. The update
included information on: Pool User Groups, Pool Facts, White Water Aquatics, Tukwila Turtles,
Washington Kayak Club, Girl Diver SCUBA, TCC Camps and Programs (Swimming Lessons and Water
Exercise).
January pool receipts showed a record monthly increase in revenues (44 approximately $6,000). The
increase may be attributed to the closing of Evergreen Pool in Burien. Committee members expressed an
interest in this presentation being given to full Council when appropriate. INFORMATION ONLY.
B. 2009 4th Ouarter Reports
The Committee reviewed the status of program goals as outlined in the 2009 4th Quarter Report, and asked
questions as appropriate. INFORMATION ONLY.
C. City Council Pre Retreat Budget Review
The Committee reviewed the 2009 -10 Biennial Budget pages as listed below in preparation of the upcoming
Council Retreat. DISCUSSION ONLY.
