-July 27, 1922.
An Adjourned meeting of the Town Council was held at the residence_
ibf Councilman Ives- on the above date.
There were present: E.F.Greene, Mayor; W.F.Engel, C.G.Sanders,
H.E.Ives, Councilmen.
The Clerk being absent, Y r. IUein, Tovai Surveyor ways appointed
Clerk.pro tem.

,:_eeting was called to order 'at the hour. of 9 P.I., the _4ayor and
Council havingvisited 1'arren Avenue,and Riverside Avenue between
Tukwila and Highland Drive- a tour 6f inspect ion.
Superintendent Engel informed the Cotanail that owing to the fact
that a great number of large stumps had been encountered in the
Marren Avenue Grade, the Contractor had found it impossible to
finish the work in the time, i.e. 11. days. It having been
determined that an additional 3 days would be needed to complete tht
work; and it being deemed advisable to slake a permanent job of th
worl., it eras unanimously decided to appropriate an additional $120.
for that purpose.
Thematter was then taken up of Improving by -grading, filling and
laying of sidew&�k on Riverside Avenue between Tukwila Avenue and
.Highland Drive. After quite a lengtl discussion on this matter,
and it being impassible to come to a definite agreement, the matter
was laid on the table until the next regular meeting of the
Council.
